About the Role
Everest Equipment Co. is currently looking for an experienced and highly skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of materials and welding processes to help assemble industry-leading snow and ice removal equipment. You’ll interpret technical drawings, follow CWB standards, and contribute to the build quality that Everest is known for.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding sequences
- Perform welding operations using various techniques (GMAW, FCAW) based on project requirements
- Operate lifting equipment and hand tools to position and assemble parts
- Inspect welded components to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Apply proper welding techniques as recommended by the CWB
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Perform any additional tasks as outlined in the collective agreement
WORK CONDITIONS
- Unionized position
- Day shift, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
- Hourly wage based on the Collective Agreement
YOUR PROFILE
- DEP in welding or successful completion of the employer’s welding test, with strong blueprint reading skills
- Minimum of 24 months of relevant experience
- Required certifications for welding snow and ice equipment: MCAW/FCAW, flat and downhill GMAW, plus GMAW SS as needed
- Required certifications for structural welding: MCAW/FCAW and flat-position GMAW
- Holds valid CWB certifications and maintains strong performance standards
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and knowledge of materials and welding best practices
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently
- Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
- Able to apply CWB-recommended welding techniques with accuracy
