About the Role
Everest Equipment Co. is currently looking for a reliable and hands-on Product Prep team member to support our finishing and assembly operations. In this role, you’ll handle acid washing, sandblasting, and part preparation to ensure every product leaves our facility looking its best and built to last.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare stainless steel bodies for cleaning in acid wash chamber using the designed equipment
- Maintain the acid wash chamber in good order and perform cleaning on equipment
- Sandblast products to prepare for paint
- Maintain sandblast area
- Hang and prepare parts on racks for paint and assembly
- Help in the assembly department when needed
- May be asked to pick-up or make deliveries using the company vehicle
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure proper health and safety regulations are followed
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace and inform supervisor
- And other task needed to aid for paint and assembly
WORK CONDITIONS
- Unionized position
- Day shift, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
- Hourly wage based on the Collective Agreement
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience in acid wash of stainless steel and/or sandblasting is an asset
- Certification as forklift operator and overhead crane operator is an asset
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Good physical ability and endurance
- Organized and responsible
- Respectful of safety regulations and company procedures
- Attentive and efficient in all tasks
